phpMyAdmin is a highly efficient PHP-based tool employed to manage MySQL databases through a web interface. You could employ it to run MySQL commands, create, change and remove cells, rows and tables or handle users with various levels of access to the database in question. Every single one of these tasks could be completed from any device given that you have a browser and access to the Internet hosting account where the database is. With phpMyAdmin, you can also export or import an entire database, which is a very beneficial function if you would like to migrate a website from one hosting provider to another. Several different file formats are supported for the so-called dump file - CSV, SQL, XML and PDF, based upon what you want to do - move the data from one hosting account to another, preview an entire database in a spreadsheet app like Microsoft Excel, etc.
phpMyAdmin in Shared Hosting
phpMyAdmin is available as an element of our Linux shared hosting and you'll be able to access it at any time from your Hepsia Control Panel. All databases you create in the account will be listed in alphabetical order in the MySQL Databases section of the CP and all it shall take to access any of them will be to click on the tiny phpMyAdmin icon, that'll be on the right side of each database. You will not have to type in any information, as you will be logged in automatically in a new Internet browser tab. If you prefer to sign in by hand instead of using the Control Panel, you will be able to do that through our direct phpMyAdmin login page where you'll have to input the database username and password. This option is useful if you need to offer access to a specific database to a third party, such as a web designer.
phpMyAdmin in Semi-dedicated Hosting
We supply phpMyAdmin with every semi-dedicated server account since our plans support MySQL-driven Internet sites. The tool is included inside our in-house built Hepsia Internet hosting CP and if you would like to change any database, you just have to go to the MySQL section and click on the phpMyAdmin icon for a particular database. You shall not need any login credentials since you shall be logged in automatically. If you do not want to go through your Control Panel or you would like to grant access to any database to another individual for some reason, you will also have an alternative option - to visit our phpMyAdmin direct login web page where our system will require the database details. If you hire a web page designer, for instance, you can use this particular option to permit them to work on your site without granting them access to any files, e-mails or any other databases inside the account.
